E-Sperse® RS-1618

E-Sperse® RS-1618 by Ethox Chemicals acts as surface conditioners and modifiers and emulsifiers. It is a anionic, aqueous sulfate ammonium ion salt. It lowers surfactant dosage and foaming during polymerization. It is compatible with acrylic, styrene acrylic and vinyl ester modified latexes. It improves gloss, freeze thaw stability, latex stability and washability of the coating. It increases moisture sensitivity and reduces coating defects such as pin holing due to surfactant extraction. It is designed for hydrophobic coatings such as deck stains, direct-to-metal paints, primers, and other coatings in which high water resistance and excellent adhesion are desired. E-Sperse® RS-1618 complies with TSCA.
