Masil® Ultra MF 8200 by DyStar is an APEO-free slip and anti-mar additive for water-based inks and coatings. It is a self-curing, multi-functional silicone emulsion. It provides low temperature flexibility for coatings on film and foil. It offers improved adhesion on CRS and Al in protective- and industrial maintenance coatings, especially DTM’s based on latex.
- It imparts hydrophobicity, dirt pickup resistance and early hardness.
- In wood coating formulations, it offers mar resistance and water beading effect.
- It is also suitable for release coatings, durable mold-release and anti-graffiti coatings.
- Recommended dosage of product is 1-5 wt% for architectural & industrial coatings and 0.5-1.0 wt% for ink and overprint varnishes.
- The shelf life of Masil® Ultra MF 8200 is 12 months.
