Antarol™ L 855

Antarol™ L 855 by DyStar is a highly effective defoamer that is used during the polymerization process. It has excellent antifoaming properties. Suitable for emulsion polymers based on acrylic polymers & copolymers and polyvinyl acetate polymers.

• Antarol™ L 855 is dispersed & incorporated easily and should be added during the initial manufacturing stage.
• It is not water-dilutable before use and offers efficacy in a wide range of emulsions.
• Exhibits excellent storage stability and will separate when incorporated.
• It is very effective in high-shear, turbulent systems and provides good leveling & defect-free surfaces.
• It is also used in inks & graphic arts, industrial processing & cleaning, pulp & paper, water treatment, paints, and construction.
• Its recommended addition level is 0.03-0.07% as supplied based on total formulation weight.
• It is suggested that 0.05% be used as a starting point and adjusted according to the application.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months when stored between 5-30°C.
