XIAMETER™ OFS-6020 Silane

XIAMETER™ OFS-6020 Silane distributed by DKSH acts as a coupling agent and adhesion promoter. It is made from diaminofunctional silane. It possesses both organic and inorganic reactivity. It can react with organic polymers and glass or other inorganic mineral surfaces.

• It offers the benefits to improve adhesion and increase wet and dry tensile strength, flexural strength, compressive strength and improved compatibility between inorganic filler and organic polymer.
• It is recommended to use in clay-reinforced elastomers such as natural and nitrile rubber, mineral-reinforced nylon 6, nylon 6/6 and polybutylene terephthalate, fibreglass finish or as resinous additive and thermoset resins.
• It is suitable for mineral wood insulation, abrasives and molding components.
• XIAMETER™ OFS-6020 Silane is used in architectural and decorative coatings, automotive paints, can, coil and industrial coatings, as well as in printing inks.
