TEGO® SML 20 distributed by DKSH is a liquid, non-ionic polyoxyethylene-(20)-sorbitan monolaurate emulsifier. It is a solubilizer for oils and dyestuffs, defoamer and antistatic agents in textile formulations.
- It is compatible with anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants due to its non-ionic nature.
- It demonstrates good environmental behavior as a biodegradable product, and exhibits synergistic effects when used as a co-emulsifier with other surfactants.
- It complies with European Regulation 10/2011 for food contact materials and with FDA 21 CFR 178.3400 (emulsifiers).
- It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, AICS, ECL, PICCS, and China inventories.
- It has a shelf life of at least 1 year.
