Parmetol® SBX distributed by DKSH is a production hygiene integrated in-can preservative. It is a synergistic working combination of benzisothiazolone (BIT), sodium pyrithione and bis(3-aminopropyl)dodecylamine (BDA). It offers a broad, balanced spectrum of effect against bacteria, yeasts and molds, even at low use concentrations.
- It has a characteristic odor and is free of chloromethylisothiazolone, formaldehyde, formaldehyde depots and other aldehydes.
- It is fully effective in cationic and non-ionic systems and pH range of 3-11.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.20% for dispersion paints and printing lacquers, and 0.05-0.15% for textured coatings and plasters.
- Parmetol® SBX has a shelf life of 18 months and is available in Australia, Cambodia, New Zealand, Philippines, Spain and Thailand.
