Esacure KT 55 distributed by DKSH is a liquid mixture of ESACURE TZT (50%) and ESACURE KIP 150 (50%). It is used in combination with a co-initiator and is particularly suitable when high reactivity and low yellowing are required.
- It is soluble in most common organic solvents, monomers, and oligomers for UV applications while being insoluble in water.
- It is used in clear lacquers for wood, plastic, paper, and metal, as well as in graphic arts including overprint varnishes and printing inks.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.5-5% by weight depending on system composition, thickness, and desired cure speed.
- Esacure KT 55 has a shelf life of 12 months.
