Epotec® YDFM 253 distributed by DKSH is a blend of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A liquid epoxy resin, diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-F liquid epoxy resin and mono-functional reactive diluent. It improves the crystallization resistance. The reactive diluent in the blend helps in reducing the viscosity of the product so that it can be suitably formulated into high solids or even solvent free coatings and floor toppings.
- The reactive diluent in the blend also lowers surface tension of the product and increases pot life as well as flexibility of the system.
- This translates into better surface wetting, longer working time and improved toughness.
