Epotec® YDH 184 distributed by DKSH is an epoxy resin based on diglycidyl ester of hexahydrophthalic anhydride. It gives better non-yellowing characteristics and chalking resistance. It offers good UV light and weather resistance. It can also be cured with anhydride curing agents at high temperatures.
- It has low VOC and solvent-free formulations.
- The applications include coatings for outdoor application on metal, wood and concrete surface, high solids coatings including baking finishes and for potting and insulating compound coatings.
- It has a shelf life of 2 years.
