DOWSIL™ 3037 Intermediate

DOWSIL™ 3037 Intermediate distributed by DKSH is a silicone resin intermediate made from phenyl, methyl silicone, methoxy functional. It is used with organic resins to improve weatherability or other silicone resins to reduce VOCs and improve flexibility.

• It is a solvent-less resin compatible with organic resins such as polyesters, alkyds, epoxies and acrylics.
• It chemically reacts with organic systems containing active hydroxyl groups to form silicone-organic copolymers, or can be blended with other silicone resins to modify physical properties and reduce solvent requirements.
• It is used in architectural and decorative coatings, printing inks, can, coil and industrial coatings, automotive paints, and appliance and high-temperature.
• DOWSIL™ 3037 Intermediate has a shelf life of 36 months.
• It is available in APAC region (New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar).
