WATERSOL AC 3080 by DIC Corporation is a waterborne, APEO-free, OH functional pure acrylic emulsion. It is combined with polyisocyanates in 2K polyurethane coating systems.
- It offers adhesion to plastics (ABS, PC, Bayblends and PVC substrates) and metal substrates (cold rolled steel, aluminum and different galvanized steels).
- It provides partial adhesion to polyamides (depending on type) and, depending on the paint formulation, to glass substrates as well.
- WATERSOL AC 3080 offers metallic pigment orientation and good compatibility with melamine resins.
- It is resistant to automotive creams and household chemicals.
- It is used in plastic-, automotive interior-, wood-, metal-, and glass coatings, home appliances, consumer electronics and cosmetic packaging applications.
