DICNATE MV130A by DIC Corporation is a cobalt-free and environment-friendly drier designed for coatings and printing ink applications. It is made with manganese, the health hazards of which are minimal. It uses plant-based esters as solvents, which are less harmful to health and the environment than conventional hydrocarbon solvents. It expedites the drying of coatings and printing inks by accelerating oxidative polymerization without cobalt compounds. DICNATE MV130A can be used in alkyd coatings or sheetfed offset printing inks.
