Radglo® P09 UV Blue

Supplied byDayGlo Color- Last Updated on Apr 29, 2025

Solid solution of an optical brightener in a thermoset sulphonamide-melamine-paraformaldehyde resin. Acts as a thermoset fluorescent pigment. It is more fugitive than conventional pigments and is stable to indoor light or outdoor conditions other than direct sunlight. Can be used for short dwell times in applications with processing temperatures. In view of the thermoset nature of P09 UV Blue, this pigment is especially recommended for applications demanding improved resistance to polar solvents, plasticizers, heat, pressure and migration. Typical applications are gravure inks, screen inks, textile printing inks and solvent based paints.
