Supplied byCroda- Last Updated on Mar 25, 2021

Maxemul™ 6106 by Croda is an emulsifier. It is an anionic, co-polymerizable surfactant designed for use as a stabilizer in latex binders typically used in waterborne wall paints, wood and metal protection coatings. It is reactive towards vinylic unsaturated monomers. It enhances the colloidal stability of the latex and improves dry film with high water repellency & superior barrier properties. It shows effectiveness during particle nucleation and the growth stage. It is suitable in pigmented films with improved pigment binding properties. Maxemul™ 6106 is compatible with acrylic, vinylic and UV polymeric systems. It is used in inks, industrial-, decorative- and elastomeric roof coatings.
