ECO Brij™ L4 by Croda is a 100% bio-based, non-ionic surfactant. It is produced from naturally occurring straight chain lauryl alcohol. This hydrolytically stable grade is used as a versatile & excellent co-emulsifier for O/W emulsions, very good wetting agent, dispersing agent and solubilizer. It is tolerant of more extreme pH levels and higher levels of electrolytes. It is compatible with polymeric acrylic/vinylic/UV-, epoxy-, natural oils-, waxes-, polyesters- and polyurethanes systems. ECO Brij™ L4 is used in decorative coatings & paints, inks and industrial & protective coatings applications.
