ECO Brij™ C2 by Croda is a 100% bio-based, non-ionic surfactant. It is used as a versatile co-emulsifier for O/W emulsions wetting agent, dispersing agent and solubilizer. It is produced from naturally occurring straight chain cetyl alcohol. This hydrolytically stable grade is tolerant of more extreme pH levels and tolerant to higher levels of electrolytes. It offers good environmental profile and highly efficient emulsification. It is compatible with polymeric acrylic/vinylic/UV-, epoxy-, natural oils-, waxes-, polyesters- and polyurethanes systems. ECO Brij™ C2 is used in decorative coatings & paints, inks and industrial & protective coatings.
