Coapur™ 975 W

Coapur™ 975 W by Coatex (Arkema Group) is a water soluble non-ionic polyurethane. It is a solvent-, alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEO)-, tin- and heavy metal free associative polyurethane thickener and opens new perspectives particularly for low emission water based paints needing attractive in can appearance and tool load, outstanding coatings properties as well as color acceptance. Offers a unique pseudo plastic rheology profile, performing strongly at medium shear rates while contributing significantly at high shear rates. It builds low shear viscosity reasonably high in order to help optimize both levelling and sag resistance. COAPUR™ 975 W is designed to be used sole or in combination ideally with high shear viscosity builders such as COAPUR™ 3025 or COAPUR™ 2025 if brush drag, film build or spatter resistance have to be increased specifically. It is easy to use and suitable for automatic dosing systems, interior & exterior wall paint, protective and textured coatings.
