CLiQFLOW® 709 by CLiQ SwissTech is an amide modified hydrogenated castor oil based thixotropic additive. Imparts a strongly shear thinning flow behavior with excellent sag resistance, good flow, levelling and anti-settling properties. It is a finely micronized powder that requires sufficient dwell times, shear forces and a well-defined temperature for activation. The activation temperature depends strongly on the polarity of the system. CLiQFLOW® 709 is used in powder coatings, general industrial- and heavy-duty non-aqueous paints. It is typically used at a loading between 0.2-2.0% depending on the required thixotropy.
