Hostavin® 3400 LIQ by Clariant is a high performance, non-migrating, triazine-based UV absorber. It offers superior light stabilization versus standard solutions. It shows excellent weathering performance due to its high photo-permanence and thermal stability. When formulated in combination with a non-migrating HALS, it will provide outstanding outdoor light stabilization in coatings applied on plastic substrates.
- It is highly suitable for UV curable systems, all types of solvent borne coatings, including acid-catalyzed systems.
- It is recommended for solvent borne coatings systems requiring long-lasting outdoor durability.
- It is used for automative OEM clearcoats, high end general industrial and exterior wood coatings.
- Hostavin® 3400 LIQ recommended dosage is 1.0-3.0% (active additive on solid resin).
