Hostavin® 3123 LIQ by Clariant is an amino-ether low molecular weight, non-basic, hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). It offers good solubility, broad compatibility and good stabilization efficiency in all kinds of coatings, including acid-catalyzed systems. It provides improved gloss retention and reduced surface cracking compared to standard basic HALS. It is used in
automotive OEM, refinish, industrial & solvent borne wood coatings, stains, based on alkyd/acrylic oxidative air-drying systems. The recommended dosage is 0.5-2.0% (active additive on solid resin).
