SILCO® GA 5053 by CHT Group is a silicone-based leveling, wetting, dispersing and surface additive. It is highly effective, suitable for aqueous systems and is easy to dose.
- It enhances scratch-, and abrasion resistance, increases surface slip and smoothness, and improves anti-blocking properties.
- It enhances metal marking resistance and haptic properties.
- It provides good water resistance and is VOC-free as per EU 2004/42/EG.
- It is APEO-free and contains less than 0.1% of cyclic siloxanes D4, D5, and D6 classified as SVHCs.
- It is suitable for water-based systems in printing inks, pigment preparations, overprint varnishes, graphic arts, and foil coatings applications.
- SILCO® GA 5053 has a shelf life of 18 months.
- It is recommended to use at a dosage of 0.1–2.0%, calculated on the total formulation.
