Ti-Pure™ TS-6706 by Chemours is a universal rutile titanium dioxide pigment. It is a TMP- and TME-free version of Ti-Pure™ R-706. It is manufactured through a proprietary chloride process. It possesses low oil absorption properties, tight particular size control for color match confidence, and blue undertone for a brighter, cleaner tint. It exhibits balance of properties for reliability and flexibility in high-performance applications. It provides good hiding power and easy wet-in.
- The alumina surface treatment reduces the contact between TiO2 particles, allowing excellent dispersion in water- and solvent-borne systems.
- The silica treatment ensures better film cure in acid catalyzed coatings.
