Capstone® Fluorosurfactant FS-91

Capstone® Fluorosurfactant FS-91 by Chemours is an ammonia-free, APEO-free, water-based anionic fluorosurfactant (18% solids in water and 10–14% in 1-Butoxy-2 Propanol). Acts as an excellent wetting and levelling agent. Offers good dirt pick-up resistance, defoaming, anti-blocking and oil repellency. Shows good re-wet characteristics in multicoat applications and freeze-thaw stability. It reduces cratering and provides faster spreading. It is capable of extremely low aqueous surface tensions. Suitable for use in water-based floor finishes, waxes & polishes (0.005–0.02%) and in low VOC architectural semi-gloss latex paints & coatings (0.02–0.03%). Also used in industrial finishes and wood coatings. Capstone® Fluorosurfactant FS-91 complies with REACH requirements and meets the goals of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program.
