Chartwell C-545.1

Chartwell C-545.1 by Chartwell International is a methacrylato functional organic adhesion promoter synthesized using a stabilized bimetal precursor. It is supplied in a solvent carrier consisting of propylene glycol to aid in rapid dispersion and solubilization of the active component in polymer matrices. Chartwell C-545.1 exhibits applications in coatings industry as it provides enhanced adhesion of UV/ EB cured coatings, i.e. acrylic to metal surfaces with resultant reduction in corrosion and it also possesses enhanced adhesion to many plastic surfaces (oxygen containing polymers only) or treated polyolefin.
