ENOVA™ Aerogel IC 3110 by Cabot is an ultimate insulative coatings additive. It possesses thermal conductivity half that of still air and a particle size that can deliver a smooth and even coat. It offers ultra low thermal conductivity, insulation performance not impacted by shear and broad particle size distribution for high packing factor. It provides complete hydrophobicity, high single pass DFT and safe touch performance. Enables the lowest thermal conductivity possible in insulative coatings. It delivers exceptional burn protection, superior heat transfer resistance and improved energy efficience. It imparts complementary performance to IR reflective and low-e coatings as well as extremely high single pass film build. When used as a post-additive for matting in the paint manufacturing process, ENOVA™ Aerogel IC 3110 enables chemical/water resistance, corrosion resistance/weatherability, film clarity, mechanical properties, sedimentation, thickening and other effects on rheology.
