ENOVA™ Aerogel IC 3100

Supplied byCabot- Last Updated on Mar 21, 2025

Enova™ Aerogel IC 3100 by Cabot is an ultimate insulative coatings additive. When used as a post-additive for matting in the paint manufacturing process, it enables chemical/water resistance, corrosion resistance/weatherability, film clarity, mechanical properties, sedimentation, thickening and other effects on rheology. With a thermal conductivity half that of still air, and a particle size that can deliver a smooth, even coat. Offers ultra low thermal conductivity and extreme resistance to shear. It delivers exceptional burn protection, superior heat transfer resistance and improved energy efficiency. Imparts complementary performance to IR reflective and low-e coatings as well as extremely high single pass film build. It provides complete hydrophobicity, safe touch performance and smooth even finish. Enova™ Aerogel IC 3100 enables the lowest thermal conductivity possible in insulative coatings.
