RHEOBYK® - 410 by BYK is a solution of modified urea. It acts as a liquid rheological additive for medium-polarity solvent-borne and solvent-free systems as well as PVC plastisols and ambient-curing resin systems.
- It creates highly thixotropic flow behavior and consequently improves the anti-sagging and anti-settling properties.
- It is used in industrial, architectural, traffic and underbody coatings and pigment concentrates.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.2-1% additive based upon the total formulation to prevent settling and 0.5-2% to prevent sagging.
- It has a shelf life of 24 months.
