DISPERBYK®-191 by BYK is a wetting and dispersing additive for solventborne and solvent-free coatings and printing inks for stabilizing inorganic pigments, in particular titanium dioxide. Deflocculate pigments through steric stabilization of the pigments. Offers high gloss and improved color strength. Increases transparency and hiding power. Reduces viscosity, improves leveling and allows high pigment loading. Especially designed for the production of pigment grinds with or without resin for aqueous coating systems. DISPERBYK®-191 is used for aqueous pigment concentrates, architectural, industrial, automotive paints, wood & furniture and protective coatings. It can be stored for 60 months. The recommended amount of additive based on inorganic pigments is 2.5-5% and for titanium dioxide is 1-3%. It is VOC and solvent-free additive
