BYK® -342 by BYK is a solution of polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane. It is a silicone-containing surface additive for solvent-borne, solvent-free and aqueous coating systems. Exhibits strong reduction in the surface tension and excellent substrate wetting. Prevents cratering, increases surface slip, gloss and anti-blocking. BYK® -342 is recommended dosage is 0.1-0.3% of additive based upon total formulation. Complies with FDA and/or EU food contact regulations.
