\BYK® -028 by BYK is a mixture of hydrophobic solids and foam destroying polysiloxanes in polyglycol. Acts as a standard defoamer for aqueous systems. Exhibits easy incorporation. Suitable for dispersion paints and printing inks with a PVC from 0-25 based on acrylate/ polyurethane or polyurethane. Used in exterior wall coatings, gloss and semi-gloss paints, plastic coatings, wood/parquet varnishes, furniture coatings, automotive coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes. BYK® -028 is also used in non-pigmented coatings for paper converting. Its recommended use level is 0 to 0.1%
