BRB Siloen® LA 271

BRB Siloen® LA 271 is a flow and leveling agent by BRB International BV. It is glycol-modified silicone fluid suitable for water- & solvent-borne and radiation curing systems with good substrate wetting. Shows anti-crater performances and can be used as processing aid in pigment dispersing. Compatible with acrylic, alkyd, amide, epoxy, nitrocellulose, polyester, polyurethane and vinyl binders. Provides strong slip, mar resistance and anti-blocking at low level of addition and improves gloss. Recommended dosage level of BRB Siloen® LA 271 is 0.1-1.0 %wt in UV radiation printing inks and wood & furniture coatings, 0.05-1.0 %wt in overprint varnishes and 0.05-0.3 %wt in industrial coatings. Also used at a concentration of 0.05-0.5 %wt in inkjet inks and 0.05-0.2 %wt in water-based pigment dispersing paints.
