BRB Siloen® 696

BRB Siloen® 696 by BRB International BV is a water-dilutable, solvent-free silane emulsion with hydrophobic properties, and high alkali resistance. It offers no loss in water vapor permeability and superior and long-lasting water repellency especially for highly alkaline materials.

• It is easy to use, has good penetration depth and doesn’t alter the aspect of treated material.
• It provides improved resistance to freeze–thaw de-icing salt stress and no significant impact on concrete rheology when used as an admixture.
• It is used as a water-repellent liquid admixture for non-load-bearing concrete-based products and for high-quality impregnation and priming of alkaline mineral surfaces.
• It provides good adhesion of paints (when used as a primer).
• It is applied by flow coating at low pressure in two coats wet-on wet.
