Octa-Soligen® 26 (oil)
Supplied byBorchers (Milliken)- Last Updated on Mar 24, 2022
Manganese and cobalt carboxylates in paraffinic mineral oil. Acts as a combination drier. The specific composition creates an ideal synergy between the metals. The use of primary driers such as cobalt and manganese ensures rapid drying of the inks. Ideal for use in systems that get dry by oxidation and are applied in very thin layers, e.g. oil-based inks. Applicable in solvent borne systems. Recommended for printing inks. The addition should be between 0.5 to 1.0 % based on the total formulation. Metal salts are compliant with FDA CFR 21: § 175.300 (b)(3)(xxii) for food contact.
