Borchi® Gol PL by Borchers (Milliken) is a VOC-free leveling agent and an effective flow promoter for solvent-based coatings systems. It is a 100% active, phenylmethyl polysiloxane which can eliminate craters and other surface defects characterized by poor flow.
- It inhibits the formation of surface defects like orange peel.
- It is compatible with numerous organic binders.
- It is particularly effective in unsaturated, paraffin-free polyester resins.
- It is suitable for can- and coil coatings.
- The dosage level of Borchi® Gol PL is 0.02-0.20% of total weight of the formulation depending upon the binder systems and which property is being addressed.
