Borchers® Deca Zinc 12 by Borchers (Milliken) is a zinc drier for solvent-based systems and used in combination with primary driers such as manganese compounds, Borchi® OXY-Coat, Borchi® OXY-Coat 1310, or vanadium-based driers.
- It enhances through-drying and improving the hardness of the dried coating film.
- It prevents common surface defects such as wrinkling and orange peel.
- It extends the overall drying time, they provide several formulation benefits, including improved pigment wetting and dispersion, increase gloss, and enhances color fastness.
- It can be used at relatively high concentrations without causing film discoloration.
- Borchers® Deca Zinc 12 is suitable for solvent-based alkyd and epoxy ester coating systems that cure through oxidative drying mechanisms.
