Borchers® Deca Copper 8 by Borchers (Milliken) is a catalyst, moderator, inhibitor or retarding agent in unsaturated polyester systems. It is a copper neodecanoate dissolved in white spirit.
  • It suppresses excessive warming when used with cobalt accelerators, thus preventing discolorations, surface imperfections and damage to the substrate.
  • Borchers® Deca Copper 8 provides longer processing time and lowers the exothermic peak.
  • This additive can extend pot life and used in casting resins, surfacers and coatings.
  • The recommended dosage level is between 0.001 and 0.010%, calculated on total formulation.
