Borchers® Deca cobalt 12 (xylene)

Supplied byBorchers (Milliken)- Last Updated on Mar 24, 2022

Cobalt carboxylate dissolved in xylene. Acts as an accelerator. Exhibits acceleration of the film structure and curing of the resin binder by starting a polymeric chain reaction. Radical polymerization will be initiated as a result of rapid decomposition of the organic peroxides. It is based on metal salts of neodecanoic acids. Recommended for use in unsaturated polyester systems for coatings resulting in a shorter gel time.
