Protectol® GA 50 by BASF is an in-can preservative for water-based paints. It is 50% w/w solution of 1,5-pentanedial. It prevents bulk spoilage during shelf-life. Protectol® GA 50 offers broad-spectrum activity with very good sporicidal and virucidal performance.
