Laromer® TPGDA by BASF is an acrylic acid ester used as a reactive monomer. It contains two polymerizable acrylate groups per molecule, enabling it to form copolymers. It provides good adhesion, good reactivity, and good pigment dispersion stability.
  • It can form copolymers with acrylic or methacrylic acids and their salts, amides, esters, vinyl acetate, and styrene.
  • It functions as a crosslinking component and reactive diluent in energy-curable inks and coatings, becoming part of the polymer structure during curing.
  • It is used for energy-curable printing inks for flexographic, gravure, offset, lithographic, digital, and silk-screen applications.
  • Laromer® TPGDA is recommended for pigment dispersions, overprint varnishes for commercial and publication applications, interior/exterior general industrial metal coatings, interior/exterior machine or equipment metal coatings, and interior/exterior wood coatings for floor, furniture, and millwork applications.
