Efka® PA 4400 by BASF acts as dispersing agent. It is a modified polyurethane for stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments with strong viscosity depressing properties. It is suitable for solvent-based coatings.
  • It provides higher color strength, reduced flooding problems, improved gloss and DOI.
  • It offers better deflocculation of organic pigments.
  • It is mainly used in automotive OEM and refinish topcoats.
  • Efka® PA 4400 complies with TSCA regulation.
  • The recommended dosage is 10% of the oil absorption value for inorganic pigments, 25–50% of the BET surface area for organic pigments, and 20% of the DBP absorption value for carbon blacks.
