Efka® FL 3750 by BASF is polyacrylate-based flow and leveling agent for solvent-free and solvent-borne coatings, especially 2K topcoats. It shows exceptional compatibility with acrylic melamine, alkyd and nitrocellulose lacquer. It provides outstanding heat stability across paint systems ranging from 2K PU ambient curing to high temperature baking of acrylic and polyester coil systems. It’s application area can be extended to UV curing formulations and powder coatings. Efka® FL 3750 is used in automotive OEM & refinishes, wood and industrial coatings. Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.5%.
