NECOWEL 900 series

NECOWEL 900 series by ASK Chemicals include surfactant-free, waterborne PU-modified alkyd emulsion grades designed for the formulation of ecofriendly coatings. The grades are VOC- and SVOC-free. In addition, the alkyd emulsions are free of PTBBA as well as free of MIT. It fulfills ecolabel requirements in combination with excellent hardness development due to their unique backbone and a balanced choice of fatty acids. The alkyd emulsions offer easy handling properties, high shear resistance and excellent gloss with low yellowing tendency. The grades can either be used alone or as co-binder in combination with acrylates. NECOWEL 900 series is recommended for architectural coatings, wall paints, wood lacquers, trim and house paints. Its minimum shelf life is about 6 months in closed original packaging.
