NECOWEL 750 by ASK Chemicals is a polyol component based on peanut oil. Does not contain APEO (alkylphenol ethoxylates) and is free of VOC (volatile organic compound) and SVOC (semivolatile organic compounds). Offers good solvent-, weather- and yellowing resistance as well as high gloss. During its use, HDI and IPDI based oligomeric polyisocyanates are recommended (hydrophilic isocyanates are specially designed for waterborne systems, as well as common hydrophobic types can also be used). In combination with appropriate hardeners film thicknesses of more than 100 µm can be achieved without blistering. NECOWEL 750 is suitable for formulating high quality two component polyurethane system (lacquers) coatings.
