NECOWEL 580 by ASK Chemicals is a cosolvent-free, unmodified alkyd emulsion (short oil length) based on non-yellowing fatty acids. Improves brushability & gloss and shows good compatibility with pigments except basic pigments. Formulates baking enamels of high reactivity in combination with water soluble melamine resins. Suitable for air drying systems with the help of appropriate driers. NECOWEL 580 is especially suited to formulate lacquers of low odor emission.
