NECOWEL 2329 by ASK Chemicals is a cosolvent-free, aliphatic PU (polyurethane)-modified alkyd emulsion of medium oil length neutralized with ammonia. Does not contain APEO (alkylphenol ethoxylates) and is free of VOC (volatile organic compound) and SVOC (semivolatile organic compounds). Shows good adhesion on metal- and plastic substrates. Offers good drying properties and weather- & yellowing resistance. Suitable for air drying top coats on metal and wood, e.g. film-forming wood stains. Used in sustainable wall paints due to high content of renewable raw materials compared to acrylic emulsions. Applications of NECOWEL 2329 include top coats, single layer systems, hybrid systems, wood lacquers, house paints and wall paints.
