Troymax™ Manganese 12

Troymax™ Manganese 12 by Arxada is a manganese salt of saturated branched C8 acids in aliphatic hydrocarbons. It functions as a reaction initiator in coating systems. It promotes surface drying and through-drying properties.

• It is suitable for use in pigmented coating systems, as it may cause discoloration in pale-colored or clear coatings.
• It can be used with secondary driers such as zirconium, barium, or zinc.
• It can be used in pigmented coatings, architectural paints, industrial coatings, and stains.
• It has a manganese addition of typically between 0.01 and 0.05% metal based on the vehicle solids of the coating in conventional alkyd formulations.
