
UCECOAT® 2807 by allnex is an APEO-, BPA- and solvent-free, high-performance energy curable polyurethane dispersion. It has low mean particle size, low viscosity and an outstanding colloidal stability when used as such or in the presence of pigments and additives. It is tack-free after water evaporation and before cure. It is used as a high-end binder for water-based overprint varnishes, flexographic- and gravure inks.
- It shows good reactivity upon UV curing and can be cured with electron-beam.
- It provides good chemical resistance, hardness, flexibility, and adhesion on flexible plastic and aluminum substrates.
- Its chemical design makes it suitable for low migration applications such as indirect food contact packaging and labels.
- It can be applied by spray, screen, curtain and immersion coating methods.
- UCECOAT® 2807 is recommended for paper & paperboard, corrugated sheets and PVC floorings.
- It has a shelf life of 1 year.
