PHENODUR® PR 217/65B by allnex is a curable phenolics resin. It is used in heat-curable phenolic/epoxide resin combinations. Mainly used in protective and can coatings, yielding highly flexible films with good adhesion and chemical resistance for the interior coating of cans, tubes and other packaging containers used in the food and luxury commodity industries. PHENODUR® PR 217/65B can also be used as sole binder for relatively brittle, highly resistant pigmented stoving enamels on rigid substrates. It can be stored for 270 days. It is delivered as 65% in butanol (65B).
