DAOTAN® TW 7066/36WA

DAOTAN® TW 7066/36WA by allnex is a polyester-based, acrylic modified, high molecular weight polyurethane dispersion. It is an aqueous emulsion of an aliphatic urethane-acryl-hybrid. It provides shear stability and is free of solvents and emulsifiers. In conjunction with thickeners (especially layered silicates), it offers a unique viscosity behavior, i.e., already small additions of thickener cause a significant pseudo-plasticity. It displays outstanding appearance, excellent mechanical properties, wet adhesion and very good outdoor durability. It also exhibits improved thermo-yellowing (up to 200°C). DAOTAN® TW 7066/36WA is suitable for high quality, water-borne metallic basecoat formulations for automotive OEM and vehicle refinish applications. The shelf of this product is 450 days.
