DAOTAN® TW 6492/35WA by allnex is a waterborne, aliphatic polyurethane dispersion, free of solvents and emulsifiers. Dried at ambient temperature, this product yields transparent films. It provides several benefits, such as very good adhesion to plastic substrates (like PA, PVC, PMMA) high elasticity, toughness, and excellent mechanical properties. DAOTAN® TW 6492/35WA is recommended for plastic primers and base-coats. It can be used as modifier resin in automotive-OEM primer surfacer to improve stone chip resistance properties. To further improve water- and chemical resistance properties of coatings it can be crosslinked with polyaziridine and carbodiimide.
